Confirm that an OTP request was actually created
A missing TC Lottery OTP is not one problem with one fix. The request can fail before the message is generated, the message can be sent to a different registered number, the phone can delay or filter the SMS, or the code can arrive after a newer resend has already replaced it. Treating all four situations as “network issue” usually leads to repeated requests and a pile of expired codes.
Keep the TC Lottery login screen open after requesting verification. Check the masked mobile number, note the request time and watch the resend countdown. Phone-side checks
Check the registered SIM before changing account settings
On dual-SIM phones, confirm which number is registered with the TC Lottery account and whether that SIM currently has signal. A phone can have working internet on one SIM while the verification SMS is expected on the other. Airplane mode, a recently restarted device, weak indoor coverage or temporary carrier registration can also delay delivery even when mobile data appears normal.
Open the normal SMS app and inspect Spam, Blocked, Archived and recently deleted areas. Search by the time of the OTP request rather than only by a brand name because sender headers can be formatted differently by networks. If the phone uses a third-party SMS app, temporarily checking the default messaging inbox can reveal a filtered transactional message without changing any TC Lottery password or registration detail.
Use automatic date and time. OTPs are time-limited, and an incorrect device clock can make a valid code appear stale or create confusion about which message is newest. Do not clear the whole phone, reset network settings or reinstall the app before these smaller checks are complete.

New SMS safety controls do not automatically explain an OTP delay
India’s telecom rules continue to tighten around commercial and transactional messaging. TRAI published fresh August 2026 material on message traceability and on controls for URLs, APK links and other variable content inside commercial SMS templates. These measures are aimed at making message chains more accountable and reducing misuse of approved messaging routes.
That context is useful for safety, but it is not proof that a missing TC Lottery OTP was blocked by TRAI, a carrier or a new rule. A user-facing OTP delay still needs evidence from the actual request: the registered number, resend state, message arrival time and any error shown on screen. Avoid claims such as “all OTPs are down” unless the platform itself publishes a verified service notice.

Unexpected messages
Treat an unrequested OTP as an account-safety event
If an OTP arrives when you did not attempt TC Lottery login, registration, recovery or a sensitive account action, do not share it with anyone who contacts you afterward. An OTP is useful only inside the live verification field for the action you started. A caller or chat account asking you to read the code back is not completing the verification safely on your behalf.
Do not use a link from an unexpected OTP message to “cancel” the request. Open the known TC Lottery access route separately, check the account if you can do so safely, and review any platform security options. If the account password may be known to someone else, use the platform’s own recovery or security process and create a new unique password.
SIM change, eSIM or porting
A recent mobile-number change can look like a TC Lottery OTP failure
If the registered number was recently moved to a new SIM, converted to eSIM, ported between carriers or restored after a lost phone, test the mobile line itself before changing the TC Lottery account. Confirm that ordinary SMS and calls reach the registered number, that the correct SIM is enabled, and that the phone is not still routing messages to an old device or secondary messaging profile.
Do not assume the account automatically follows a new mobile number just because the new number is active on the phone. TC Lottery verification is tied to the number recorded on the account. If the account screen shows an old masked number that you no longer control, repeated OTP requests will not transfer verification to the new SIM. That becomes an account-recovery problem requiring the platform’s own support process.
After carrier porting or a SIM replacement, temporary network-registration effects can also exist outside the platform. A useful isolation test is whether unrelated transactional SMS messages reach the same number. If every normal SMS works but only one TC Lottery request repeatedly fails, keep that evidence. If many transactional messages are delayed, the mobile-network layer deserves attention before account settings are changed.
Do not move the problem by changing numbers
Registering a fresh account with a different number can separate wallet history and credentials from the account you are trying to recover. Preserve the original account ID and registered-number evidence first.
When retries stop helping
Build a short delivery record for account support
After two controlled attempts separated by the page’s own resend timer, further rapid requests usually add less information. Record the account identifier with sensitive digits masked, registered mobile mask, first and second request times, device model, whether the SIM had signal, whether other SMS messages were arriving, and the exact TC Lottery response after submission.
If the problem happens only in the Android app, compare it with a normal browser login before changing credentials. If it happens in both places, that points away from a local app session. If the code arrives but is rejected, the issue is no longer “OTP not received”; record whether the message says expired, invalid, already used or verification failed and continue with the matching account-support path.
