UPI deposit reconciliation

TC Lottery UPI Payment Deducted but Wallet Pending?

If money was deducted but the TC Lottery wallet did not update, compare the bank or UPI status with the platform order before retrying. The two systems can show different states while a payment is being reconciled.

Do not judge from one screen

A deducted UPI payment creates two records that must be compared

When a TC Lottery deposit is paid through UPI, the UPI app or bank and the TC Lottery wallet can show different states for a period of time. “Money deducted” describes the payer side; it does not by itself prove that the platform wallet received and reconciled the payment. The safest first step is to preserve both records instead of sending the amount again.

Open the UPI transaction details and record the status, amount, time, payee identifier and UPI reference such as the UTR or RRN shown by your app. Then open the TC Lottery wallet and record the matching deposit order, amount, time and platform status. Mask unrelated balances and account details before sharing any screenshot with support.

UPI / bank statusTC Lottery walletWhat to do first
PendingNo credit or pendingWait for the current payment state to settle; do not duplicate the transfer.
CompletedPendingKeep the UPI reference and platform order ID for reconciliation.
FailedNo creditCheck whether the debit reverses before attempting another payment.
ReversedFailed or closedConfirm the amount returned to the original account.
CompletedCreditedSave the final wallet entry and stop troubleshooting.

UPI status matters

NPCI treats failed and pending transactions differently

NPCI’s UPI FAQ distinguishes a failed debit from a transaction that is still pending at the beneficiary side. For a failed transaction where the account was debited, NPCI states that the amount should be refunded and advises contacting the bank if the refund is not received within the stated period. For a pending transaction where the amount was debited but the beneficiary has not yet received it, the FAQ describes a longer settlement window.

That distinction is important for a TC Lottery wallet problem. Do not copy one timeline from a different status and assume it applies to every payment. Read the exact word shown in your UPI app first: Pending, Failed, Completed or Reversed. Then compare it with the TC Lottery deposit record and any time window shown by the platform.

A platform wallet can also need internal reconciliation after the UPI side reports completion. That is why both the UPI reference and the TC Lottery order identifier matter. One tells the bank or UPI app which transfer occurred; the other tells the platform which wallet request should receive the credit.

Reconciliation evidence

Keep the references that both sides can actually trace

A useful payment record is short and specific. Save the TC Lottery account ID with sensitive digits masked, deposit order ID, requested amount, request time, UPI app name, UPI status, UTR or RRN, payee identifier shown at payment time and the wallet status after the transfer. If a bank statement later shows a reversal, add the reversal time instead of replacing the original record.

Platform reference

The TC Lottery deposit order or wallet reference identifies the intended credit inside the platform.

UPI reference

The UTR, RRN or transaction ID shown by the UPI app identifies the transfer on the payment side.

Status timeline

Record when the transfer was initiated, when UPI changed state and when the wallet changed state. A timeline is more useful than repeated screenshots with no timestamps.

Do not expose the UPI PIN, OTP, full bank-account number, card data or remote-access codes. None of those secrets are needed to reconcile a completed or pending UPI transfer.

Completed on UPI, pending in wallet

A successful UPI screen can still need platform-side matching

If the UPI app says Completed but the TC Lottery wallet remains pending, first verify that the payee details were generated inside the live wallet for that exact deposit attempt. Do not rely on a QR code or UPI ID copied from an old screenshot, group message or previous transaction because payment instructions can change.

Next compare the amount. Some payment flows generate an order for a specific amount and expect the received transfer to match it. If the amount, order or payee differs, preserve the evidence and use the support option inside the platform rather than sending an adjustment payment to a person who contacts you privately.

  1. 1

    Confirm the UPI status

Open the transaction details, not just the notification, and capture the reference.

  2. 2

    Confirm the wallet order

Match amount, time and platform reference to the same deposit attempt.

  3. 3

Wait through the displayed processing window

Do not create a duplicate transfer while both records are still moving.

  4. 4

    Escalate with both references

Use the UPI app or bank for payment-side status and the platform for wallet-side reconciliation.

Failed but debited

A failed debit should be tracked as a reversal, not as a second deposit

If the UPI transaction is marked Failed and money was debited, check the same transaction for a reversal or refund entry. NPCI’s published FAQ says failed UPI debits are intended to reverse and advises contacting the bank if the refund does not arrive within the specified time. Your bank or UPI app is the correct place to trace the payment-side reversal because TC Lottery cannot return money that never reached its wallet system.

If the platform created a deposit order but the UPI transaction failed, keep the order ID until the bank-side state is final. The wallet may eventually mark the order failed or expired. Do not treat an uncredited failed order as proof that a new payment should be made immediately.

Order ID versus UPI reference

Do not confuse the merchant order with the banking reference

A TC Lottery deposit can generate an internal order before the UPI transfer is completed. That order ID is useful to the platform, while the UPI transaction reference is useful to the bank or payment app. They identify related events but they are not interchangeable. When support receives only one of them, it may be able to see only half of the payment trail.

Write the two references on the same private note with the amount and time. If the wallet creates several failed orders, match each order to the exact UPI attempt instead of sending a screenshot that contains multiple unrelated transactions. This reduces the risk of the wrong deposit being investigated or credited.

UTR / RRN / UPI transaction IDUPI app or bankBank or UPI support can trace the payment state.
Payee UPI IDPayment confirmation screenHelps confirm which recipient was paid for that order.
Timestamp and amountBoth systemsHelps match the two records when IDs differ.

Also distinguish a normal payment you initiated from an incoming UPI collect request. If someone sends a collect request after a deposit problem and says approving it will “receive a refund,” stop. Approving a collect request can authorise money to leave your account. Use only the payment or complaint flow you intentionally opened.

Payment safety

A pending wallet is not a reason to pay an outside “release fee”

Be especially cautious if someone contacts you after a pending deposit and claims another transfer is required to release, verify or refund the first one. Do not approve an unexpected UPI collect request, share a UPI PIN or install a remote-access app. A refund does not require you to enter a UPI PIN to receive money; a PIN authorises a payment from your account.

Return to the TC Lottery wallet through the current access route and use the support option shown inside the platform. For bank-side complaints, use the complaint or transaction-help feature inside your UPI app or contact the bank using a known channel. Avoid phone numbers or QR codes sent through comments, direct messages or forwarded screenshots.

If the payment was not authorised by you, treat it as a bank-account security event rather than a normal TC Lottery deposit delay and contact the bank immediately using its established fraud process.
